Chuck,

When buying the bearings at a local store, besides the two brands you recommand (Timkens and SKF), what kind of grease should be bought for repacking? Any brand recommanded?

For the bearings, just give the store clerk the year and model of the 240, that should be enough, right? Any other considerations?
