Has My water pump gone bad again already?? 200

Need some advice. I replaced my waterpump myself approx 10 months and 10,000 miles ago. Everything was running smoothly it seems until recently. Tonight I find a small amt of coolant on the garage floor and maybe a 1/5 cup sitting in the bottom of the splash tray right underneath the water pump. How do I tell if my water pump has gone bad again? Is there anything else that could be leaking? I replaced the radiator and all hoses at the same time as the last water pump. Anyone got any good hints or ideas? I really don't want to replace another pump over the holidays. Last time it took me an entire weekend. Argh!!
