Help! Starting to miss more and more 200 1987

I have an '87 240 with 191k on it. I think I'm still getting a fuel delivery problem, but I'm not sure what it can be. Both pumps are new (replaced within the last 6 months) as is the Fuel Pressure Regulator. However, the in-tank pump is still louder than normal and acts like it is under pressure. It is starting to miss and hesitate while accelerating or under a load at all temperatures. I just drove it for 600 miles to come home for the Holidays and the idea of driving it back in this condition isn't very encouraging for me. Please Help!

Merry Christmas,

Paul
