m41 to m40 140-160

hey nice pic, not a spot of rust. So far ive found only an m40 for 200 bucks but thats out of oklahoma so its gonna cost a fortune for shipping.but im sure it will be a heck of a lot cheaper than any thing else. but, becuase the m40 if smaller in lenght because it doesnt have the OD unit the what could be done so it fits. replace the drive shaft or is there any type of adaptions or connectors?
