Volvo 900 series mats in 760 ? 700 1987

I have a 1987 760 gle 2.3 turbo wagon and have come across a brand new set of mats from a v90/960...you know the nice plush ones with volvo stiched in. What do you think...will these guys work inside my car or did the heater venting change the carpet molding pattern over the years?
