How NOT to do (But it worked for me) 140-160

You do get rather busy doing this act don't ya! That appears to me as because this is not so common a thing to do... I have done several in the years and never have damaged anything, but I have had the same wish for more hands and feet.

I have done the tree bit, but never thought of the jack stands bit. Perhaps a better way would to be on a shop type floor jack in the great wide open, and be lowered suddenly??? I can see that working a bit safer...

I can tell you that driving into a tree feels weird, but you are moving very slowly as that happens. I have dug some pretty good holes in the dirt doing that as well.. So long as protection has been made to the car and the tree and it all works well, no damage happens... Mac
