exhaust manifold stud

If it will come out part way there is great hope for success. Remove it as far as it will go without stressing it. Spray Kroil or PB Blaster (accept no substitutes !!) on the stud threads then carefully screw it in again. Tap the end of the stud with a hammer (I prefer brass) let sit for ten minutes or so, occasionally tapping with the hammer. Unscrew it, spray, screw it in. Repeat the process over and over as needed to completely remove stud. Knock on wood I have never had a stud break off that I was able to get to move at least a little bit- just be patient.
