Which relay are you using? 200

If you want to use the A/T "Upshift" light, you may need to use the A/T relay. It's internals are quite different, but I think it would handle the solenoid and Light the way you want it to.

Check it out at E5 on the '89 diagram. 12+ to the solenoid (ON), and also puts 12+ to the light (turning it OFF, as it already has 12+ on the other side.)

The next time the relay is toggled, it grounds the light (ON) and the solenoid OFF.
