Warm idle shdder 900 1993

1993 945T, 178600 miles

It's funny that every time I drive my wife's car I noticed something. This time it is warm idle shudder. When cold it does not seem to do this. Also if the transmission is in neutral it seems to do it less frequently. The symptoms are: while idling with the engine fully warmed up, every ten seconds or so the RPM drops but then it comes back up, and the idle speed seems a bit low at around 850 RPM. I got diagnostic code 3-1-2 (wiring break between EZK terminal #4 and FI #28), ran the rest of the test but everything else was fine, and erased the 312 code. Since I had a temporary manifold gasket I replaced it with a new one anyway after I found this problem but this does not seem to have noticeable effect, and diagnotic code then showed 1-1-1.

A few thousand miles ago I replaced both manifold gaskets, all of the vacuum hoses, cleaned TB, etc., and it has been fine until just now.

Much TIA for any help.

Lih-Yen
