Some facts about it:
Former test car by Volvo Personvagnar 1983-86.
very odd VIN-number starting with 704, not as usual 744 or 764.
1987 engine/tranny/rear axle swapped by Volvo already autumn 1985.
But with a B28E injection system.
Only one ever painted in this color what we know. Colorcode 139
(which came on 744 GLE year 1984..).
This is a very rare car but as we like older Volvos more so will we need a 164-75. So we wonder how much our 760 are worth, itīs not rusty, neither beneath or in fenders or any trim, All insignias still there. 100% stock except ī90 turbo wheels. tow bar, full leather interior which is fully intact no damages what so ever. sadly enough no catalytic cleaning now as itīs still here in sweden but no problem to mount it to make it streetlegal in USA.
sadly enough Volvo never sold any 164-75īs here in Sweden so we have to get one in USA where 99,99% of all ī75 went to.
So therefore this test car is a suitable swapping object to get one. Therefore itīs convenient to know how much this test car is valued to in USA because the swedish market has never given these odd cars their real value, and we want to give this car a good home, where it will be preserved for the future. itīs impossible here as many just see it as commuter still. It ainīt many here who puts any value in good cars here, sad enough.
