A/C compressor clutch squeeling 200 1993

I've isolated the squeeling sound in my engine compartment to the A/C clutch. However, it doesn't matter if the A/C is engaged or not and I've read that if the bearing goes out, the sound goes away when the A/C is engaged. Could this be the clutch plates?

I've also read about folks replacing their clutches using everything from pry bars to a specialized clutch puller. My guess is that if you just pry it off, you'll ruin the shaft seal. Any thoughts on what pullers work?

The clutch is not available locally, but looks to be about $100 from FCP Groton. If the bearing is the problem, can it be replaced and the clutch reused?

Any tips are greatly appreciated.
