90 740 Turbo - stalling and flashing ABS lamp when cold 700 1990

Guys,

I have a 90 740 Turbo with 5-spd.
I work second shift so lately when I come out of work it's pretty cold. Lately I'll start the car, go to pull out of the driveway, and the car will stumble real bad and the ABS lamp will flash. The car will then "catch" itself and run fine most times.
A couple of times it stalled and then drove fine after starting it back up. Even once I drove the car about a block with the car stumbling (and ABS flashing) then "catching" itself and running fine then stumbling again. This happened at about a frequency of stumbling (lasts about 2 seconds) then running fine (about 2 seconds).
The stumbling definitely feels electrical in nature because it's dying right now, unlike a fuel problem which usually dies a little slower.

I kind of feel like it's a relay but have no idea where to start?
Any ideas.

Thanks.
Lou.
