Which to sell, which to keep? 700 1988

She's never learned to drive a manual. Closest she got was parking lot practice with my old Ford PU. I think the biggest obstacle to teaching someone with no mechanical aptitude to drive a manual is the "why" question. As in, "Why do you have to shift?"

Though my intellectual superior, Leigh, as I've often said, if given the choice of two buttons to push, would push the wrong one and break the other. Even she laughs at that.

She's not opposed to learning and we'll likely give it another shot. Getting to the point of comfortably dealing with traffic with kids in the car will take a long time.
