Power Steering Pump Outlet Fitting-Flare? 200 1981

I have the GM pump with the integral reservoir. The high pressure hose has a flare fitting. However, the pump appears to have a fitting with a square shoulder inside rather than a matching flare contour. The fitting on the pump is removable. Does this pump have the wrong fitting for my hose? Can I purchase the pump fitting separately?
