drive train swap 200 1981

HI! I am hoping to do a drive train swap with my dad's 87 into my 81. I am running the B21f engine which I hope to keep (I just rebuilt it) but is the bolt pattern of the B230f the same? Will dad's transmission work with my B21 motor? Will the rear ends swap out ok? I know I will have to change the speedometer because the new one is driven from the rear differential rather than the transmission. Thanks!
