Help - Frying Fuse 7 700

The relay for an 89 740 is on the front left of the relays behind the ash tray. Since it sounds like you're not using any fuses when you test it with the battery, you may have a problem with this replacement fan. It may be using so much current it is blowing the fuse before it can get going. With out fuses this fan may be drawing a lot of current at start up. Does the voltage dip when you run the replacement fan?
