Ignition timing waaay off 140-160 1974

It is indeed possible that your ignition timing is better than indicated.
Does it run OK there?
You can get TDC by looking or feeling with a screwdriver through
#1 spark plug hole as you turn the engine manually (I put it in top gear
and roll it back and forth with belly pushes [on LEVEL ground]). Then
you can look at the marks on the pulley and see what is what.

Did you do any Lutfisk this year?
