intermittent acceleration problem 200 1987

Thanks for your help- I found someone with bosch fuel injection experience who correctly diagnosed the problem. I found a used air flow meter ($65.00) in Wilmington DE, and he installed it, fixing the problem. His name is Chuck and he works for George Smith Auto in Folsom. He owns a volkswagon with the first bosch fuel injected engine ever made. Now I am looking for another volvo, a wagon with a third seat, if you hear of any. Thanks, again, Sarah C.
