did you talk to the previous owner of the carb and find out what it came off of? That would probably help you figure out if it is the needles that are causeing the problem. But, I repeat, on my 142, my choke was all messed up, try playing with it(all the way out, in the middle, and in between), and you may find something that works better. Give it a try, I think it may be your problem. Good luck,
