K&N air filter for 945 Turbo? And reccos sought for preferred oil filter 900

Does anyone have any experience or opinions regarding the use of a K&N air filter for a Turbo model '94 945? Also wondering what enthusiasts use by way of oil filters. I'm going to be using Mobil 1 synthetic next oil change and would like the collective wisdom on this issue. Thanks in advance.
