We occasionally get conditions like that, but, fortunately, without any
degree of regularity. Old Rapid Red (1960) handled them pretty well,
both snow and glare ice (1/2" deep, 28° F). Most of that experience
was gained in a 50-mile each way commute working in Tulsa in 1967-68.

The 122 seems about as good, the 164 almost but it has too much power.

How'd you get 3.31 gears in a 544?
