Funny problem with 740 700 1988

THIS MAY SOUND STUPID, BUT I EXPERIENCED A DROP IN RPMS AND ALSO A KIND
OF STALLING, DIMMING LIGHTS,STRANGE GAUGE READINGS, ETC. THAT WENT ON FOR WEEKS. FINALLY IT WOULDN'T START, SO I BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY. SURE IT STARTED, BUT THEN STALLED OUT AGAIN AND WOULDN'T START. TOWED IT TO MY FAVORITE SHOP - - SIMPLE SOLUTION. GROUND WIRE HAD BEEN COMING LOOSE AND FINALLY STOPPED MAKING FULL CONTACT. DID I FEEL DUMB? YES, BUT IT IS FINE SINCE. I HOPE IT MAY
BE THIS SIMPLE FOR YOU. GOOD LUCK.
