Hello there (new member from the UK)

I'd be grateful for any help here. I have a beloved 340 and had some electrical probs with the rear lights. All fixed and workling fine, but now the engine won't idle-coincidence? Drives (as usual) like a dream, but as soon as I get to a junction and reverse down to neutral, blump! Am having to engage the choke now to avoid the numerous re-stards. Did i muck things up with the electrical change around or is there something else I should be doing?
