No glue needed on the door seals. You won't be able to just slide them into the channel, even with silicon, though. You'll need a small screwdriver (or maybe a plastic knife from a fast food place would be better), and you'll need to use that to pry the outer lip into the channel. Start with one end at the bottom center of the door and work all the way around, then cut off any excess length when you get back around to the starting place. This does not go quickly, so allow about an hour per door.
The seal will not want to lie correctly against the body where the front of the window is. Look at your old seal, and you'll see that it does a twist there. You'll need to "train" the new seal into that shape. This is done by taking a thin cloth (towel, whatever) and draping it flat over the upper half of that section, then shut the door tight and ease out the cloth from the outside. This will pull the upper part of the seal into shape. Leave the door closed for a good while after that -- you may need to repeat this for several days before it behaves on its own.
Good luck with it -- it's not a difficult job, but it's a little bit picky.
