Low beams out 700 1991

One again this forum and the FAQ's saved me a big repair bill. The trouble with the low beams on my 745 was the *&$# bulb failure relay. I pulled a couple from the salvage yard, put one in and the lights came on again. Hard to believe Volvo would allow this to be the failure point for something so important as headlights. We had a couple of hostile nights running with the highs on from other drivers, but had no choice. One of them was coming home Christmas night from the in-laws......
