O2 sensor and code 212 with check engine light 700

Hello to all,

My check engine light came on today while the car was idling in a parking lot warming up. Found all three codes in position 2 of the OBD were 212. Does this mean I need a new O2 sensor? The car has 190k km's (118 k miles), so the sensor may even be original. I'll look at connections tomorrow, and see if I can get the actual part number off the sensor itself if it is warm enough outside. (I'm in Ontario Canada an hour out of Toronto where it has actually been very warm and wet over the holidays). Looked through the FAQ and searched posts on genaric sensors and the merits of splicing or not. Will probably change the sensor myself if needed. We have a bay at work where I could do it indoors.
