PBR Pad Squeeeeeeeeeeeeal! 200 1993

I put on a set of new PBR pads a few weeks ago in the rear of my 240. They are squealing like an old freight train. When I installed them I cleaned everything well, used the shims, and used the grease. It didn't help.

I then pulled everything apart again and filed the edges slightly, relubed, and reassembled. Tha didn't help either.

In reading the posts I see that lots of people are having this problem. PBR changed the pad formulation. I'll have to give IPD a call on Monday. I wish they would have warned me about this, since it is apparently a very common problem now!
