Temp gauge registering below normal, Do I need a new thermostat? 200

86 240 sedan 145,000
My temp gauge has recently stopped coming to rest at 9:00 on the gauge, instead it now sits at around 7:30 after extended trips.
Does this mean I need a new thermo or does it signal a bad temp sensor. It is consistent at its reading after long trips.
The heater isn't as warm either.

Any suggestions.
I did replace the water pump and thermo about 110,000 or about 2 years ago.
