vinyl for cloth swap possible? 200 1990

I've been scanning the archives for some time now and I can't find the exact information I'm looking for so I'm looking for some additional help.

I found good info on replacing seats for my brick. My question is whether it's possible to switch out a vinyl seat for cloth. I have cloth and I really need to replace the driver's seat. I have access to vinyl seats, but not cloth.

My car is a '90 wagon, and the donor seats are either from a '90 or '93 240.

Any tips to removing the upholstery?
