In Cabin Air Filter System - 1993 940 900 1993

Hi,

I have a 1993 940. The newer 850's and S70's, and of course all new Volvo's, apparently have a in-cabin air filter system. And the new cars have a system that automatically tests the air quality and recirculates the air if needed. Anyway, I was told that some of the older cars dating back to 1993 could be retro-fitted with a in-cabin air filter??? Is this possible on a 1993 940. I thought I was told no, but wanted to check with all of you.
