Need AMM for 84 240DL 200

Hello to all!

Well, here is the update on the Air Mass Meter issue. My father and I spent the day looking for a wrecking yard with an applicable AMM. Found none. We are on the Southern Oregon Coast, there are practically no Volvos in our wrecking yards. So, instead I was told by a local parts guy that I would have to pay over $500 to replace it with a Bosch unit.

Is there no middle ground? I am hoping some of you folks have any advice on locations for purchase, etc. We love our 240 and cant stand the thought of not keeping her around, but $500 would be entirelly too steep. Even over at Swedish Engineering in Eugene, they quoted me $536.

Any help? THANKS TO ALL!

Jay

P.S.-- Tested the resistance on pins 6 and 7 on the AMM, per Bentley. They test fine. Inner wiring seems to be in place. We cleaned the contacts as well as possible. Still same situation.
