CR-718 to CR-814, or, will CD changer from 91 bolt, plug and play on 94 which does not have CD changer? 900

Yikes! long subject header. Sorry. Here's the question. My 94 945ti has the cr-718 tape player. A guy has a cr-814 radio/tape player and also has the cd changer for the rear of the car. Will his CD changer and radio from his 91 just clip in and work on the 94? I'm just looking to upgrade and want to know if this is just a matter of simple replacement. And, where the heck is the cd changer DIN plug...i can't seem to locate it in the rear of the car yet. Thanks for all the help.
