Another option.... 200 1986

Some time ago the resistor failed on my brothers Alfa GTV6
I bougth a 12v motor speed controller from an electronics
hobby shop and installed it to control the blower motor.
I used a small pot with a switch to control the controller,
and put it in a metal box to sheild the RFI
.
The small switching controller runs better the 90% efficient so
you don't have to disapate as much heat, put it any where you want.

We abandoned the resistor in place,
GTV6 heater boxes are also
an iron clad bitch
