Regulator for Motorola alternator 140-160 1974

Hi,

I just picked up a new 62 amp Motorola alternator. I have an old Bosh external regulator currently in the car. I am wondering if I should replace this regulator with one better suited to take advantage of the Motorola's higher output. What type/brand should I use?
