Snow in Vegas!-Wiper Problem 200

There was a freak snowstorm here in Las Vegas last week, nearly 6 inches in a few hours! Anyhow, I excitedly turned on my wipers to clear the winshield of snow and my drivers side wiper now swings freely. I'm not sure how to access the wiper mechanism to see what's wrong and if I'm able to fix it. Does anyone know how to get at the guts of the wiper on a 87 240 wagon?
