Console Lights are out 700 1986

I have had my 740 for about 7 months now. And, I am just realizing that the console lights (CLimate control, ashtray) are not working. I have checked the fuse. It is a good fuse. And I dont think its a bulb, because my cigerette lighter is also disfunctional. My gear indicator lamps work fine, and my instrument lights work also. So, any suggestions...?
