no reverse lights - switch on shifter -right? 200 1993

Hi all,
Trying to track down why the reverse lights stopped working and my Haynes manual has hopelessly mixed up the model years with separate neutral start and reverse swithes and the years with one switch and then manual and auto. Can any one tell me if the 93 240 has one switch for both functions and if it's on the shifter? Checked fuses and bulb already and there is no current at the reverse light sockets. I'll check the wiring from back to front but I mainly wanted to find out the location of the switch. This is for tomorrow's frostbite inducing project...
Thanks,
Robb
