horrible noise when i start 200 1986

Hey everyone I have a 86 240 DL. Sometimes when I go to start my car it makes a horrible squeling noise. It sounds AS IF it was already running and I had tried to start it again. So far it does that once and then i'm able to start on the second try. So far it has done it 2 in the past 3 or 4 days. Any ideas of what this could be? Thanks
