240 brakes onto '69 142 140-160

Hi All,

Asked this question before with no real conclusion, a set of 240 calipers/rotors has come up cheap and I just wanted to ask again in case someone can now shed some more light on the subject.

I vaguely remember from a previous post that some grinding of the 240 caliper is required for clearance, and I just wanted some clarification if that is actually the case.

The car I want to put them on is a '69 142 that already has 240 5 spoke alloys fitted (if that makes any difference).

Cheers,

Daz
