so is this really bad, or just kind of bad? 200

Hi,
guess what? my power steering/fan belt broke and ended up in the fan itself..... i am sick to my stomach thinking of how bad the damage could be to the fan, and the car in general, and if it is very expensive...... also a bit sick thinking about how it was running so hot (not in the orange, but right on the line). it got driven for about 7 miles after that.

i will be able to go to my fabulous mechanic tomorrow, but i am hoping to get a better idea of what to prepare myself for the possible scenarios today.

oh, and after i looked at the belts, i accidentally locked my keys in the hood. (probably because i got pulled over this a.m and was still pretty adrenalized because of that).

it's been a bad 12 hours in the car realm. :(

any possible info about damage/what not appreciated.

susan.
