Starter reliability 700 1989

The car started all day long, about 10 times I suppose. Turn the key, nothing, I jiggle the main wires on the Batt. no help. I kinetically adjust the solenoid with a mag light and she fires right up, now about 7 times.

I replaced this starter on 11/15/00, then on 12/19/00, again on 3/25/03 and once more on 4/1/03. Needless to say, I'm pretty good at this task by now. IMHO, this s**ks. The starters have a lifetime guarantee but gee whizz enough already.

Now my question is, do I put ANOTHER starter in or is there something I'm missing. The engine runs fine, no major problems, just the usual small stuff.

Thanks for the advice.
