Front Heated Seats on the '95 900

Got all the repair bills from the local Volvo dealer on the prevous second owner a couple of weeks ago. Every year it looks like a continual battle to keep the front heated seats functional.

Either the switch or the "MFI module" ( heater relay? ) are replaced almost annually. Actually the right front seat heater switch was replaced on November 2003. Turns on nicely and lights up..... but no heat.

Is there a solution here that would prolong this exercise to a two to three year spacing? Or is this something you simply tolerate? Knowing why they break down would be helpful....

On the bright side, the drivers side works so far...

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give!!
