Cheap 1983 4+1trans&j-type in oakland

Its at Oakland Pick-n-pull in the last row of Euros. diesel car had a bad head gasket, but clutch an many other parts were brand new German stuff...sad story for somone. Anyway we seperated the tranny and its just sittin on the ground. Should be $69.99 if you can convince them the OD is part of the tranny(usualy no problem).

Also met a Lame fellow brickster there, when i looked at the junker 88 760 he was working on, he told me to beat it, then called me a queer and said I looked like a theif!
He seemed enraged, so I stood around for 30 minutes to keep his heart rate up. the 2 guys he was paying spent half an hour watching him watch me...ha ha ha. Then I picked up my dolly with $900 of tools on it(obviously i must be a theif) and went on my way.
Anyway, if said Llamma reads this board, I must extend my most cordial invitation to eat my @!(% anytime.
At least the next guy I met was a decent type, and restored my faith in humanity.
