Cooooooooold Starts! 120-130

If the car sat in the unheated garage for, say, 8 days but I had a trickle charger for the battery and an oil warmer for the oil pan, and after an Arctic blast it took about 3-4 minutes to start (despite it turning over like crazy) would you say that’s related to fuel or spark, or both?
My tendency is to pour some dry gas in the tank before the next very cold spell.
But would a Cranes or Perlux electronic ignition help with something like this?
And by the way, which electronic ignition would be better for a ’68 with a B18 with an alternator upgrade?
As always, thanks to all Bricksters.
