87 760 has exhaust leak at turbo connection to manifold

My wife has been complaining about how the 87 760 wagon sounds "churgelly" when acellerating. The repair shows said no leaks in the muffler or glass pack or piping. With the engine cool, I started it and sprayed soapy water at exhaust connections. Ah ha. bubbles comming from seam of turbo housing to exhaust manifold under by the spark plugs. / Is there supposed to be a gasket there? My repair manual doesnt indicate and I cant see the remanents of one. If there IS supposed to be a gasket and I get in there to replace it , should i continue on and do the valves too?

Thanks for input and opinions.

Brian
