power window conversion 200 1988

I see what your saying. Thats the type of shifter I was going to get but the top of the shifter (& slider) came apart when I was taking it out of the junker. Sorry but I guess I had a gap in my memory. So far I am happy with the way the OD works & I guess if I want it to AUTOMATICALLY switch to OD I should get a AW70/71. But that will be for another Volvo on another day. I have found a couple of spare OD relays and will re-solder them by this weekend to have some spares in the car with me. I have heard enough people complain about there OD and it ends up being the relay or wiring. So I made sure I re-did all the wiring and weather proofed it as much as possible. Thanks for the OD insight. I'll keep my eye out for it at the yards. It will give me something to tinker with.

Sincerely,
