940 long tirp 900

plan to drive NY to FL about 1,000 miles, 24 hours. dont want to be stranded. 1993 940 N/A has 200,000 miles with new intank pump (regina system) and new fuel filter. what else must be checked.

previous owner said cat converter is dying. will this cause me to stall in the middle of nowhere or is it just an emissions problem.

brakes- good
tranny good
steering solid
wheels new
ac good
cruise control good

ignition? what about it?
bad rear muffler. bit noisy. a problem?
