compression to high? 700 1985

Your compression numbers are very respectable.

BG44K (http://www.bgprod.com/)is a good product that can typically be found at your local auto mechanic, their web site has a list of retailers. I've never seen it at PepBoys or Autozone type stores. It's popular stuff for cleaning your whole fuel system, removes deposits on injectors, valves, and combustion chambers. I've paid around $25 for a can of it, alot of money it is but it's worth it in my opinion.

I would add a can of it to your gas tank maybe 500 miles BEFORE your next oil/filter change. Use that tank of gas and then change the oil. The stuff is pretty potent and will thin out your oil therefore decreasing its lubricating properties...
