something everyone is missing 200

while, I appreciate everyones replies, I will expand on our current financial situation and say this. I love her very much, and if it was up to me, she wouldn't be driving the POS Geo Metro that she is. Our financial situation barely lends itself to buying groceries each week much less affording a used car. We struggle to get by and are constantly plagued with problems with our vehichles because of our financial standing. Take for example last week when my 1982 Volvo 240DL decided it no longer wanted to start in the cold. I had to take a taxi to work everyday and it was almost worth it just to stay home. I work (2) jobs and make very little money, and when my car dies I have a heck of a time coming up with the $26 I need for fuel injector parts, much less a deposit and a monthly payment I can't afford... she is in the exact same sitation... She gets paid once a month, and when payday comes it is all gone within 3 days...and its not because she can't budget, it's because we need to keep the lights on in our apt. Life is so frustrating when you can't save any money to bring yourself out of these types of predicaments...but trust me, this has been the same since day 1.
