Hi. Just some thoughts on the subject:

1) Go with relays and heavy duty wiring -- it's best for your car's electrical system, and you'll maximize the output of your bulbs, especially for higher wattages.

2) Don't believe PIAA's claims about higher output for a given wattage -- it's phony. Just use a good brand like Osram or Hella -- for more info, see Dan Stern's website, www.danielsternlighting.com (or lighting.mbz.org , I think).

3) Reconsider using yellow for your foglights. I know it's been in use for decades, but that doesn't prove it isn't a common myth. Bosch did a study and explains that this color is not really an improvement in effectiveness in fog. In fact, by using such yellow filtering, you are actually removing a substantial portion of light output that otherwise would help you see. Bosch summarized these findings as "There are no physiological justifiale advantages in yellow light.", from pg 681, column 2, of Bosch's "Automotive Handbook", 3rd Edition.
